Academic Excellence is one of my top three campaign priorities. Minnesota public education aims to ensure individual academic achievement, an informed citizenry, and a highly productive workforce (MN Statute 120A.03). Yet, schools are struggling to fulfill this mission, and the facts are undeniable. Only 50% of third graders can read at grade level in Anoka-Hennepin School District #11, and just 46% of eighth graders meet the math standards necessary to move into high school courses. If we aim to cultivate an informed citizenry and a productive workforce, our schools must equip students with the skills they need to be successful in life.

Parental transparency is one of my top three campaign priorities. Keeping parents informed of classroom evacuations and other important issues is essential. My goal is to encourage strong, healthy relationships between administration, teachers, and parents.

One of my top three campaign priorities is STUDENT SAFETY!
350 classrooms were evacuated last year due to volatile behaviors.

We can do better and must do better to keep students and staff safe!

Having the privilege of building relationships with our administration, teachers, and students has given me a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities our schools face. I am passionate about advocating for a safe learning environment for all students and believe that my experience can help facilitate positive changes.

Did you know that Minnesota school classrooms were evacuated 350 times last year due to volatile behavior? This statistic is alarming and highlights the urgent need for effective policies that address student safety and well-being.

I am committed to working hard to ensure our schools are places where every student can thrive.

Thank you for considering my candidacy. I look forward to your support and input as we work together for the betterment of our schools.
